Small hail reported 2 miles west southwest of Orick, CA. Hail accumulated up to an inch with a single vehicle accident in the vicinity. LAT. 41.27N, LONG. -124.10W.

Wider weather episode

A deep trough brought widespread hail showers and snow to Northwest California. Heavy snow of several feet was measured in the mountains while the hail showers resulted in numerous traffic accidents along the coast.
