Numerous trees down in town and the power is out. Possible structure damage in town also.

Wider weather episode

A shortwave moving into the region resulted in showers and thunderstorms into the previous evening and continuing into the early morning hours on June 16th over the western half of Iowa. MLCAPE values around 1000-2000 J/kg and 20-30 knots of bulk shear allowed for a favorable environment to produce a few storms that become severe, with thunderstorm wind damage reported in Sac and Webster counties.
