Event narrative

Pictures from the public showed a funnel associated with a waterspout over Kings Bay that would later move ashore over western Kings Bay, becoming a tornado and damaging two structures. Additional pictures relayed by local EM showed significant damage to the structures, however the initial integrity of the structures in question could not be confirmed, as they were likely somewhat aged.

Wider weather episode

Developing sea breeze convection along the sea breeze produced a waterspout in Kings Bay that ultimately moved ashore near Crystal River in Citrus County, becoming a tornado and damaging two homes.
