A Facebook post and accompanying pictures showed a few large pine trees downed and snapped at Pine Mountain. Time of the damage was estimated from radar.

Wider weather episode

Building instability ahead of passing cold front produced a bowing line of severe thunderstorms in the early morning of the 27th. Power outages and sporadic tree and power line damage were reported across portions of central Upper Michigan from the storms.
