The roof of a grain silo was ripped off and the west side wall of the silo was caved in.
Wider weather episode
A line of storms moved through the northwest Panhandles during the evening of August 9th. These brought wind damage to portions of the northwest Texas Panhandle during the evening. Rain lingered into the morning of August 10th, where flash flooding occurred in Amarillo.
