Several trees and power lines were blown down in Greenville and the surrounding area including at the Greenville Mid-Delta Airport. There was some minor wind damage to buildings at the airport as well.

A line of severe thunderstorms moved southward across Mississippi during the evening of August 18th and produced scattered to widespread wind damage.
