Peak snowfall reported in the Sierra Madres came from the Old Battle SNOTEL (OLDW4) with 18.9 inches. Little Snake SNOTEL (LITW4) also reported 17.1 inches with several other SNOTELs reporting heavy snow accumulations above 12 inches.

Wider weather episode

A quick shot of Pacific moisture brought heavy snow to the Snowy and Sierra Madre Ranges in southeast Wyoming.
