Low temperatures were in the upper 20s to lower 30s, including readings of 28 at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport in North Bend, 28 at the USCRN Site near Coos Bay 8SW, 28 at FW9247 Lakeside, and 28 at FW9441 Myrtle Point.

Wider weather episode

An upper level ridge gradually built into the region from the eastern Pacific Ocean with weak winds and clear skies. This resulted in freezing temperatures at the Douglas County, and Coos County coastal areas, and into the Coquille Valley.
