Low temperatures were in the upper 20s to lower 30s, including readings of 32 at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport in North Bend, 27 at the USCRN Site near Coos Bay 8SW, 29 at Lakeside, 29 at Bandon, and 28 at EW0059 Myrtle Point.

Wider weather episode

An upper level ridge gradually built into the region from the eastern Pacific Ocean with weak winds and clear skies. This resulted in freezing temperatures at the Douglas County, Coos County, and Curry County coastal areas, and into the Coquille Valley.
