Overnight low temperatures fell to between -10 F and -15 F in the North Snowy Range Foothills from 1/20 into 1/21. The combination of cold temperatures and gusty winds resulted in a prolonged period of extreme wind chills under -30 F. Minimum observed wind chill values reached -37 F at the Otto Road WYDOT sensor (16 WSW Cheyenne) at 6:26 AM MST on 1/20.

A strong arctic front brought prolonged frigid temepratures to southeast Wyoming Friday, January 17 through the early morning of Tuesday, January 21. The coldest temperatures occured Sunday night and Monday night.
