Event narrative

A clipper system brought light snowfall to northeastern Minnesota the evening of the 21st through the late morning of the 22nd. While most snowfall amounts were under 7 inches along the North Shore, an area of lake enhancement near Grand Marais led to isolated higher totals in that area. The highest report was 8.5 inches 3.8 miles north-northeast of Grand Marais along the terrain ridge.
