Snowfall totals of 5 to 8 inches of heavy wet snow were reported across the southern part of Cook County. A high report of 9 inches was recorded about 4 miles northwest of Grand Marais.

In addition to the prolonged period of blizzard conditions along the MN 61 corridor, snowfall totals of 7 to 12 inches were reported in the area as well. A high report of 15.5 inches was reported in Hovland.

Snowfall totals of 7 to 9 inches were received within roughly 5 miles of Lake Superior along the North Shore in Cook County. The highest report was from 10 miles northeast of Grand Marias where 9.5 inches was recorded.
