Event narrative

Two to four inches of snow and sleet mix fell across coastal Brunswick county, with a maximum of 3.9 measured in Southport, NC. The Bald Head Island ferry, as well as NC DOT Fort Fisher-Southport ferry, suspended operations January 22 and 23. Holden and Sunset Beach bridges were closed the night of the 21st.
