Peak gust of 77 mph occurred at the EMKAYW (UP226) UPR site 14 miles west-southwest of Cheyenne at 3:41 AM on February 24th. Multiple other gusts between 65 and 70 mph were reported in this zone.

This was a long duration, CWA-wide high wind event including nearly every zone in the NWS Cheyenne CWA. Sustained winds between 40 and 60mph were seen, along with gusts over 80mph.
