Rawlins Airport reported a snow squall with visibilities between one quarter mile and one half mile for nearly a half an hour. Wind gusts between 40 to 45 mph were also reported.

Wider weather episode

A strong cold front moved across the state of Wyoming the afternoon of March 31st. This front not only produced severe thunderstorms across the eastern plains, but a few high impact snow squalls along Interstate 80 over Carbon County.
