EF1 Tornado — Grady, Georgia

Event narrative
This is a continuation of the Leon County EF1 tornado into Grady county. A tornado touched down in Killearn Lakes Neighborhood on Bass Bay Dr, snapping and uprooting several trees and knocking trees down on a couple of homes. The tornado moved northeastward, crossing Ten Oaks Dr, Deerlake Rd N, and Buck Point Rd before damaging a couple of single family homes off Buck Point Rd. The extensive tree damage in Killearn Lakes and damage to the homes off Buck Point Rd were the most severe, earning a rating of high-end EF1 with max winds of 105 mph. The tornado then passed over Lake Iamonia before crossing Highway 319 (Thomasville Rd) about a mile south of County Road 12 where it continued to snap and uproot pine trees. It then continued to snap and uproot pine trees as it crossed Sunny Hill Road and crossed into Grady County Georgia, where it finally lifted over a private plantation just west of Forshallee Rd.
