Event narrative
The Cape Blanco buoy (46015) and the Umpqua Offshore buoy (46229) reported swell sufficient to generate high surf. Surf heights reached 27 to 32 feet. Waves were highest on west facing beaches.

A very strong occluding front brought high surf to the coast of Douglas and Coos counties in southwest Oregon.
