Photographs and video from social media, in addition to a special METAR from KEUG, indicate a funnel cloud developed around 1-2 miles northwest of the Eugene Airport.

A board low pressure system facilitated unsettled conditions across the region with cold air aloft supporting weak afternoon instability. During the afternoon hours of May 12th a cold air funnel cloud was reported in shower activity near Eugene, Oregon.
