Multiple tree branches were snapped with some that measured one inch in diameter or larger.
Wider weather episode
During the early afternoon of June 2nd, scattered storms developed over parts of eastern New Mexico and the far southwestern Texas Panhandle. These storms quickly grew in coverage expanding northward into a line before moving easterly across the combined Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles. Some of these storms were severe with the main impact being damaging wind gusts.
