A few wind gusts reached 58 to 61 mph within this 30 minute time frame at the mesonet site located two miles north of Stinnett.

Each observation site had dozens of high wind gusts from 58 mph to 78 mph, with the highest concentration of high wind gusts between 1030CDT to 1330CDT. The estimated average sustained winds in that time frame was 45-50 mph.

Multiple ground stations measured high wind gusts, up to 70 mph, intermittently for approximately 3 1/2 hours.

Only one high gusts occurred within the county while the rest stayed below High Wind criteria.

Several accidents reported around the county.

The southern half of Hutchinson County was part of the larger swatch of snow across the Texas Panhandle and received 6 to 12 of snow. The northern third to half of the county received 3 to 6 of snow.

This wind gust was in association with the outflow boundary moving through the area.

The roof and part of a wall on an old shed were blown west onto the neighboring property.

Photos were submitted to the weather service of downed electric lines resulting in additional damage to paneling on a house. Small trees were also blown over.
