Heavy rain throughout the month of June contributed to the Lemonweir River at New Lisbon to rise into minor flood stage on June 28th around noon. The flooding on the river continued into the month of July.

Wider weather episode

Rounds of thunderstorms on June 25th and 26th contributed to rises on area rivers in Wisconsin which included portions of the La Crosse and Lemonweir Rivers entering minor flood stage.
