An isolated cell developed along an instability gradient in the late afternoon of June 19th across eastern Minnesota. As the cell moved southeastward near Osceola, WI, the cell rapidly developed into a long-tracked supercell which produced a swath of quarter to golf ball size hail across St. Croix and Pierce Counties.
