Snowfall reports ranged from 5 to 8 inches, and the highest report was 8.0 inches near Somerset. Winds became breezy at times, dropping surface visibilities at KRNH to 1 mile or less at times while snow was falling.

CoCoRaHS observers reported that freezing drizzle 4 miles southwest of Knapp produced a glaze of ice accumulation on flat surfaces.

The AWOS Station located at New Richmond Municipal Airport reported a few hours of mixed precipitation. A CoCoRaHS observer reported a layer of sleet existed on their snowboard.

Snowfall totals across the county were reported around 4 to 6 inches.The highest report was 5.6 inches 1 mile NE of Hudson. The snow was generally light and fluffy, and fell over a period longer than 24 hours.

A combination of snow and gusty winds impacted the county Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Snowfall amounts around 1 to 3 inches were estimated across the county, and wind gusts around 25 to 35 mph were measured throughout the event at New Richmond Regional Airport.

Several reports of hail up to 1.75 inches in diameter within the city of New Richmond along WI-65. The largest hail was reported near the intersection of East Richmond Way and 140th Street.
