Law enforcement reported trees down near Westby.

A line of storms moved out of southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa and rapidly developed a strong wind signature on radar as they progressed through Vernon County. While this signature was relatively short-lived, severe winds resulted in instances of trees down in both Vernon and Monroe counties prior to the storms weakening and moving eastward.
