Winter Weather — Eastern Clinton, New York

2025-11-10 · Eastern Clinton, New York

Event narrative

Snowfall accumulations of 4 to 7 inches were reported.

Wider weather episode

A weak, but complex area of low pressure traveled from the Mid-Atlantic Appalachians on November 9th across eastern New England during the afternoon and evening of November 10th.

Precipitation started as a cold rain (temperatures in the 30s to around 40) during the 10th. As low pressure tracked across eastern New England and slightly strengthened during the late afternoon and evening rain changed to snow, heavy at times during the evening commute. This accounted for numerous (dozens and dozens) vehicle accidents across the Champlain Valley. Highest snowfall totals were 4 to 7 inches in the Champlain Valley of Clinton and Essex counties, quickly dropping off to 2 to 4 inches elsewhere.
