One and a half inches of snowfall was measured in Miller County. County dispatch reported multiple slide off accidents on Highways 42 and 54 due to snow covered roads.
Wider weather episode
A storm system and brought the first light snowfall to the area during the morning. While total snowfall amounts were generally one inch or less, cold ground temperatures and Monday morning traffic allowed for several vehicular accidents and school closures.
