The EMKAY UPR sensor (UP226) 16 miles west-southwest of Cheyenne reported a wind gust of 71 mph at 8:57am on November 2nd.

A brief and fairly marginal wind event occurred over the southeast Wyoming wind prone locations on November 2nd. Some sustained 40mph were seen at the Bordeaux interchange.
