Drought — Angelina, Texas
2025-11-13 to 2025-11-30 · Angelina, Texas
Wider weather episode
Above normal temperatures and a prolonged period of below normal rainfall was observed across Angelina County Texas throughout October, which continued through the first three weeks of November. In fact, during a nearly four week period from the final week of October to the third week of November, less than a quarter inch fell across much of the county. These conditions significantly dried soil moisture, resulting in severe (D2) flash drought conditions developing across the county during mid to late November, before heavy rain of near or in excess of three inches fell between the 24th-29th. This was enough to improve drought conditions back to moderate by the first week of December.
