Event narrative
Between 4 to 7 inches of snow fell across the county with the highest amounts occurring in the eastern region of the county. A CO-OP observer measured, 6.0 inches 3 miles N of Kimball and 6.2 inches miles S of Saint Augusta.
Wider weather episode
A potent clipper system moved across Minnesota on December 9th, 2025. Areas across southwestern MN observed a mix of rain, freezing rain which eventually transitioned over to all snow. However, a tight transition zone between precipitation types set up along the I-94 corridor where 3 to 5 inches of snow fell. Areas north of I-94, observed heavy snow accumulations between six to eight inches.

7.5 inches 7 miles WSW of Vineland, MN (Morrison).
7.3 inches in Lexington, MN (Ramsey).
7.1 inches 3 miles NW of Blaine, MN (Anoka).
7.0 inches in Coon Rapids, MN (Anoka).
7.0 inches in Bock, MN (Mille Lacs).
