More then a thousand vehicles and many homes in Sartell were damaged by the storm. Hail measured by trained spotter. All injuries were minor. The hail fell when winds were not too strong, so crop damage in the area was limited.

Multiple reports of trees down in the southern part of Stearns County, including Cold Spring.

Emergency manager reported major impacts in the city of Albany due to heavy rain and flash flooding. This was supported by several public reports of urban and county road flooding, including CR 157 northwest of Albany and at the I-94 underpass.

An estimated 4 to 11 inches of snow fall across the county, with the bulk of the snow falling on April 2nd across the western portion of the county. The highest reported snowfall total was 10.5 inches 2 miles NNW of Melrose.

Several hours of light freezing rain resulted in accumulations around 0.1 to 0.2 inches of flat ice across the county. Additional snow accumulations around up to 2 inches fell on top of the ice resulted in hazardous travel conditions Saturday into Sunday.

An estimated 1 to 2 inches of snow fell across the western portion of the county. Gusty winds over 30 mph combined with heavy snowfall rates resulted in brief whiteout conditions throughout the morning.

Several hours with wind chill ranging from -43 to -40 observed at KPEX and KD39 each morning.

A quick burst of 1 to 3 inches of snowfall was reported across the county. Due to the timing, this led to travel impacts during the evening commute near the St Cloud area.
