Trained spotters reported 5.9 inches at 4 NNW New Fairfield, along with 2.5 inches at 3 WSW Shelton, and 2.5 inches at 3 SSE Weston. The public reported 3.5 inches at 4 NNW Ridgefield and 2.7 inches at 2 SW Newtown. An emergency manager reported 3.0 inches in Bethel.

An elevated warm front which resulted in warm advection in the mid levels resulted in an accumulating snow across northwestern portions of Southern Connecticut. The first of 2 accumulating snowfalls within 48 hours.
