Measured 50 mph wind gusts and over 5 inches of snow in Lake County. Travel was nearly impossible and drifts of over a foot occurred on many main roads in the county.

Sustained winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts over 50 mph were common with a winter storm that brought 4 to 8 inches of snow to Lower Michigan November 26-27. This impacted holiday travel as the snow and wind started the day before Thanksgiving and continued through the Thanksgiving holiday. All forms of transportation were impacted by this storm.
