NWS Fairbanks upgraded a High Wind Watch to a High Wind Warning at 1210AKST on 04/29/26. On 4/30/26 at 2120AKST the DOT site ACRA2, located approximately 8 miles south of Delta Junction recorded gusts of 63 kts. Winds peaked at ACRA2 at 2340 AKST on 04/30/26 with sustained winds of 45 kts with gusts up to 65 kts. The last verifying observation was 10 minutes later at 2350AKST on 04/30/26. No property damage, injuries, or fatalities were reported.
