The Cinnabar Park SNOTEL site in the Snowy Range recorded an estimated 16 inches of snow. Criteria of 12 inches was rached around 9PM on May 5th. Many other sites recorded 10 to 13 inches of snow with this system.

The wider storm

A late season snow storm below across southeast Wyoming and dumped several inches of snow across the area. This was the heaviest snowfall event of the Winter 2025/2026 season with 8 inches of heavy, wet, snow falling in Cheyenne.
