The SNOTEL site Cinnabar Park (CINW4) estimated 39 to 40 inches of snow fell over a 21 hour period. Many other sites in this zone esimated 20 to 30 inches of snow.

The wider storm

Another late season snow storm moved across the region May 17th to 18th. Blizzard conditions were observed at the Arlington/Elk Mountain zone during this event. Highest snow totals was 36 inches in the Snowy Range.
