What the National Weather Service wrote
A few inches of standing water was reported on Quarry Road east of Fairdale Road due to flooding from farm fields and a nearby ditch. Six inches of standing water was reported on Route 72 near Ault Road.

Severe thunderstorms moved across northern Illinois during the afternoon and evening of June 11th producing wind damage, localized flooding and several tornadoes.
