Numerous roads in Deridder flooded and closed including Honeysuckle Street, Tara Road, Ingallwood Park Road, Highway 112, and Blankenship Road.

The wider storm

Tropical Storm Arthur made landfall along the coast of southeast Texas and moved northeast across central Louisiana. Heavy rain trained across portions of central Louisiana creating widespread flooding and a new rainfall record. Flood waters slowly drained in the days following the passage of the system.
