Event narrative

A mudslide was reported at Barrio Arenas, along road 523; and at Barrio Bibi along road 605, in Utuado. Local emergency management weather station recorded 2.5 inches of rain during the afternoon.

Wider weather episode

Showers and few thunderstorms persisted until the early evening across the interior. This was associated with the afternoon convection which led to saturated ground conditions.
