About 1400 people lost power in east Jefferson county. Several trees fell, one onto a power line.
Wider weather episode
Strong southerlies occurred on the night of May 2, but not high wind. Westerlies began on the morning of May 3 and reached high wind criteria on Whidbey Island. Pockets of strong wind occurred from Lewis to Skagit Counties. About 15000 customers in all lost power.
