Valley County Emergency Manager reported widespread damage across the county from Cascade to McCall including power lines and poles and large trees down and damage to roofs and structures.
Wider weather episode
A southerly flow of moisture into the Intermountain West along with daytime temperatures near 100 degrees for many locations provided the needed energy for strong to severe thunderstorm development across parts of Southwest Idaho.
