State Highway 55 and numerous county roads were flooded with 1 to 2 feet of water flowing across the roads.

A trained spotter and other sources reported at least three, two feet in diameter trees were blown down at the north end of Payette Lake.

Browns Pond Dam east of McCall partially failed due to heavy rain, and spilled onto Lick Creek Road, washing out parts of the road.

A trained spotter near Cascade, Idaho reported three quarter inch hail and heavy rain.

Large hail broke car windshieds in and around Cascade.

Heavy rain washed out the road to Thunder Mountain on the east side of Monumental Summit.

A strong pacific cold frontal system generated thunderstorms from the Idaho-Oregon state line Eastward across Southwest Idaho. Trees were blown down 7 miles South of Mc Call in Valley County.

A stationary thunderstorm complex dropped an estimated 2 to 3 inches of rain from Cascade to Smith's Ferry with public reports of water over Highway 55 and a hillside washout.

On the evening of July 3rd two men were struck by lightning while fishing in a boat on Deadwood Reservoir. The men, ages 32 and 44 were flown to a hospital in Boise. Both men survived and were released from the hospital by the next day.
