A fast moving intense storm moved north across the Alaska Peninsula producing damaging hurricane force wind over the Eastern Aleutian Islands and strong wind over the Alaska Peninsula. The peak observed wind was 99 KT in Dutch Harbor. These high wind gusts resulted in collapsing a wall of an apartment building in Dutch Harbor and blew several storage containers over.
