This warning was issued based on radar reports. A threshold VIL density for 1 inch hail was determined with ground truth earlier in the day and this warning was issued based on radar returns exceeding that threshold. Therefore it is assumed that this storm produced 1 inch or larger hail at some point in its lifespan.
