Event narrative

Microburst. Damage survey indicated straight-line winds. Many trees uprooted or snapped off. 18-inch healthy cedar was snapped off 8 feet above ground. 27-inch partially core-rotted cedar was snapped off at the same level. Damage path estimated at 230 feet wide, length 350-500 yards long. It lasted about 45 seconds.
