Trees and power lines down from near Esperanza to Fort Hancock. Barn blown down, tin roofing peeled from several barns and older buildings.

Wider weather episode

A back door cold front setup along the Rio Grande Valley and an upper level disturbance combined with it to produce wind gusts to approximately 80 mph around Fort Hancock and several reports of quarter size hail.
