Freezing rain impacted the upper hood river valley area with two reports from the public of ice accumulations around 0.25 inch just northwest of Parkdale on Trout Creek Road (1500 feet elevation).

East winds help trap cold air into the Upper Hood River and Central Columbia River Gorge areas as a Pacific frontal system produced freezing rain with light ice accumulations.
