The Siuslaw River near Mapelton reached flood stage at 440 PM PST on February 12, 2014, and crested near 18.02 feet at 500 PM PST. The river dropped below flood stage at 530 PM PST on February 12th.

A series of fronts resulted in a prolonged period of rain for Northwest Oregon, and minor flooding of several of the area's rivers from February 12th through February 17th.
