A severe thunderstorm moved through the city of Camden and knocked down trees and wires. The worst damage occurred to two of the the Camden County Municipal Utility Authority's buildings. One odor scrubber was badly damaged on one building, the other was also damaged, but not as seriously. A wind gust to 94 mph was reported at the site. Damage to the two buildings was estimated at one million dollars.
