Gusty offshore winds buffeted coastal sections of San Luis Obispo county. In the city of San Luis Obispo, the winds blew out the windows in an unoccupied mobile home, as well as destroyed part of a car port. In Nipomo, a weather spotter reported sustained winds of 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph. Also, the strong winds produced widespread power outages.
