Strong winds caused on prescribed fire to lose control east of the Pendleton. This fire would go on for several acres and burned mostly farm land, however there was a scrap yard that was overtaken by the fire. Another fire start near Lexington was able to spread due to strong winds and destroyed a mobile home and a couple of vehicles, before fire crews were able to extinguish it.
